We Nation South Africa is a non-profit civic organisation founded on the conviction that the future of South Africa must be built by all of us, for all of us. We work across 8 areas of focus to build stronger communities, accountable systems and practical solutions that create long-term national progress.

No. We Nation South Africa is a civic platform focused on practical engagement, social responsibility and collaborative contribution. We are not aligned to any political party, government or ideology.

We Nation South Africa was founded as a non-profit company (NPC) registered under South African law. Registration number: 2025/868936/08.

Our vision is a South Africa where we are united in collective purpose. A country in which systems work, institutions are trusted and its diverse society is empowered to build sustainable prosperity for global competitiveness.

To pioneer the agenda of building a functional, accountable and self-sufficient South Africa through proactive interventions borne from unity and collaboration. We aim to rebuild national trust by empowering citizens to take charge in the journey towards the future we all want.

Yes. We Nation South Africa is registered as a non-profit company (NPC) with registration number 2025/868936/08. Section 18A tax receipts are issued for eligible donations.

We Nation South Africa welcomes individuals, businesses, aligned organisations and strategic partners who share a commitment to constructive civic participation, social progress and practical contribution.

Membership connects you to a civic network that shares information, opportunities, initiatives and participation pathways aligned to the 8 areas of focus. It is not only about belonging. It is about participating in a network that turns civic intent into measurable action.

Individual membership requires a once-off joining fee of R100 and a monthly contribution of R20 thereafter. Business membership is structured according to business category and level of engagement.

Members gain access to a trusted network for information sharing, referrals, opportunities, events, initiatives and future development programmes linked to civic participation and community value.

No. Membership is open to anyone who believes in contributing meaningfully to stronger systems, responsible citizenship and practical collaboration.

Yes. Businesses may join as part of a broader ecosystem that supports value creation, collaboration, referrals and strategic participation.

Members join as participants in the network. Associate organisations are aligned to shared values and initiatives. Strategic partners collaborate in focused areas of delivery linked to one or more of the 8 areas of focus through a formal agreement.

Members receive communication on activities, opportunities, discussions, initiatives and relevant information through approved communication channels.

Complete the membership form and submit the required details. Once reviewed, you will receive confirmation and payment guidance where applicable. The membership portal is launching soon.

Contributions support communication systems, coordination, administration and member-facing activities that strengthen the movement's ability to operate effectively.

Businesses join to become part of a civic ecosystem that values responsible contribution, practical collaboration and long-term social relevance. Membership creates opportunities for visibility, trusted referrals, participation in initiatives and connection to broader value-chain opportunities.

Yes. Businesses may align with one or more of the 8 areas of focus depending on their expertise, services or social contribution interests.

A strategic partner is an institution, organisation or entity that works with We Nation South Africa in a focused area of delivery, helping to strengthen specific interventions, services or initiatives. All strategic partnerships are formalised through a memorandum of understanding.

Yes. Strategic partners may collaborate on initiatives, campaigns, programmes or interventions relevant to agreed areas of focus. They may also co-lead where there is alignment, trust and clearly defined scope.

The 8 areas of focus are: A. Human Capital and Infrastructure for Sustainable Eco-systems, B. Enterprise Development and Enablement, C. Education, Skills Development and Civic Literacy, D. Food Security, E. Health and Social Welfare, F. Accountable Governance and Social Stability, G. Safety, Security and National Stability, H. Sport, Arts, Heritage and Culture.

These 8 areas represent the interconnected systems that must function for a country to thrive. They are not isolated programmes. Strengthening one area strengthens all others. Together they form the foundation for a functional, self-sufficient South Africa.

The areas of focus are designed as a system. Economic enablement depends on education. Education depends on food security and health. Health depends on governance and safety. Cultural identity strengthens all of the above. No area works in isolation.

Yes. Members, volunteers and partners may align with one or more areas of focus depending on their skills, resources and interests. We work to match your contribution to where it creates the most value.

Donations

Questions about donating and how contributions are used.

Donations can be made online via the Donate page on this website. We accept card payments via PayFast as well as EFT and manual bank transfer.

Yes. We Nation South Africa is registered with Section 18A status. Eligible donors will receive a Section 18A tax receipt by email which can be used for tax deduction purposes.

Donations fund programmes, campaigns, coordination and community-facing activities across the 8 areas of focus. All community-facing programmes are delivered free to beneficiaries.

No. Every contribution matters. Whether it is R50 or R5 000, every contribution becomes part of something greater than ourselves.

Yes. All online payments are processed through PayFast, a secure South African payment gateway. We do not store card details.

Getting Involved

You can join as a member, volunteer your skills, partner as a business or organisation, or share our campaigns and initiatives within your networks. Every form of participation matters.
